A Note to Parents:

WHY CAMP IS IMPORTANT?

Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota has been dedicated to quality Christian camping for youth and adults for over 65 years. A recent study conducted by Search Institute found that a summer camp experience is the second most powerful faith influence you can utilize to keep your children faithful in the church. (Parents are first.) In church, a young person’s faith is that of their mom and dad. Away at camp, it begins to become their own. We partner with congregations, pastors and youth leaders to create and provide programs that uplift and sustain people of all ages on their faith journeys in a safe environment.

No matter which camp your child attends – Atlantic Mountain Ranch, Klein Ranch, NeSoDak, Outlaw Ranch or Joy Ranch – they will receive the same important benefits:

Lutherans Outdoors’ camps are accredited with the American Camp Association, provide on-site health care 24 hours a day and our staff participate in two weeks of thorough staff training.
