beautiful 92 acre horse ranch, donated by Joy Nelson of
Watertown to Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota. Joy
Ranch is located 7 miles northwest of Watertown on the
shores of Lyle Lake.

Lutherans
Outdoors is conducting a Capital Campaign to raise more than
$5 million to build a wheelchair-accessible camp and retreat
center in the
style of an 1880's town, including:
Currently, the Joy Ranch 1880's
Country Church can be rented for weddings and other special
events.

AMR is a high adventure youth camp

summer offering camping in a Fort,
service projects on an Indian
reservation, backpacking trips in
Wyoming and Black Hills, and programs
to design your own activities and
adventures.
